Penn Museum Conservation Lab

To support the renovation of the main Penn Museum in West Philadelphia, important Egyptian artifacts had to be moved to an offsite warehouse space for cleaning, conservation and storage. To perform these tasks, the warehouse required fit-out work including the construction of an interior cold-form framed conservation lab, addition of three new roof top mechanical units and determining the ability of the existing concrete slab to support the exhibit pieces and the equipment, such as a gantry crane, used to handle them.
